Tea Ceremony
An invitation to journey with the plant spirit of Tea through a silent contemplative journey.
We sit together in silence drinking several bowls of tea from old-growth trees, dropping into a meditative flow that allows the mind to relax, the body to surrender, the qi to move and the heart to open.
We practice Cha Dao, or the Way of Tea, in the tradition taught by Global Tea Hut, root teacher Wu De.
Cha Dao is an ancient practice with a long-standing lineage of tea sages, masters and teachers.

A Gentle Yet Profound Container
Tea is known as the “Great Connector,” known to dissolve barriers. As we sit with tea, we let go of daily tensions and deepen our connection with ourselves, with one another, and with Nature. In the process, we make space for wisdom and clarity to enter.
As Qi moves through the body during a tea ceremony, it can move stuck energy, stagnation, or emotions. The space of Tea Ceremony invites you to simply allow what is deeply present.
Tea works on the most subtle parts of our being, illuminating what is deeply present and offering the element of clarity as we create space to navigate our inner landscape.
This is a process, journey, and container of deeply listening to the ancient wisdom of the Tea leaves.
“Sitting in tea ceremony with Mandalynn is a gift. This woman holds the most profound, sacred space that allows you to access the depths within. The container is pristine, the tea is always fantastic & the journey will change your life. I’m eternally grateful for this profound experience. ”

Tea Ceremony FAQs
-
Typically for a morning Tea Ceremony, there will be caffeine in the tea. However, the caffeine isn’t the comparable to the caffeine in coffee. While the caffeine in tea and coffee is the same compound, the caffeine in tea is initially trapped by its own polyphenols and tannins, and is then released gradually, for up to ten hours at a time. Thus, there is no "crash," but a period of sustained stimulation. The caffeine from tea can sharpen the mind, increase concentration and eliminate fatigue, all while keeping you feeling relaxed.
Though the tea that will be served has a small amount of caffeine, it offers relaxing benefits to the nervous system and helps those who suffer with stress, anxiety, insomnia, hypertension, and other conditions. This tea will relax you deeply.
Evening Ceremonies will not have caffeine.

It is a socially-low impact ceremony, supporting your own internal process.

This is a safe space to allow any stuck emotions, energies, or stagnancy to be able to move through your experience. There is no right or wrong way. Whatever is meant to come through and be illuminated with Tea will be.
If you are going through a time of transition, change, death, and rebirth or needing a safe space to receive nourishment and support - this container is particularly ripe for you.

I, Mandalynn, do not have permission to teach Cha Dao. It’s the utmost importance to me to remain in integrity with this ceremony and lineage, in which I recommend learning deeper from the root Source of The Global Tea Hut, root teacher Wu De.
Of course, I am always available for questions and conversations in regards to Tea! But I request that if you are seeking to build your own relationship with Tea & Cha Dao, that you connect to the Source of the practice, tradition, and ceremony.

In Remembrance & Honor
In honor, remembrance, and gratitude of Alex Crow, who wove the practice and lineage of Cha Dao into my life.
A forever Teacher 🕊
May your Spirit continue to live on through each bowl of Tea poured from the heart.
